
Adiya Uri Ngozichukwuka

Adiya Uri Ngozichukwuka is an award-winning consultant, social entrepreneur, and gender advocate with years of experience at the intersection of public policy, mining, communications, and disability inclusion. She currently serves as Consultant to the Taraba State Government on Mining, advising on artisanal and small-scale mining formalisation, gender-responsive value chains, and responsible mineral governance.
She is CEO of April Benjamin and Dawn Communication Limited, a strategic communications firm driving advocacy and stakeholder engagement for government, development, and private sector clients. As Executive Director of Empathy Driven Women International Initiative (EDWII), she leads an award-winning NGO advancing economic empowerment, skills, and rights for women living with disabilities and vulnerable conditions.
A Fellow of the Global Institute of Consultancy and Certified Gender Advocate, Obafemi Awolowo University, Adiya combines technical expertise with lived insight to shape inclusive policy and programmes. She holds an MBA from Trinity University College, Dublin and a BSc from the University of Lagos.
Adiya is author of three books with US Library of Congress approval, including Sakadelli: So When Is It Okay? She is a TED Talk speaker, spoken word poet, and sought-after conference speaker on gender, leadership, disability inclusion, and extractives. She is also a broadcaster covering news and production of television and radio shows.
