Oluwatoyin Aralepo is a renowned finance executive, strategic business leader, and advocate for excellence, with over 20 years of experience spanning banking, telecoms, fintech, and international development. A results-driven professional, she has established herself as a trusted authority in financial strategy, corporate governance, and business transformation across multiple industries.
Currently, she serves as Finance Director at a leading global non-profit organisation (Mastercard Foundation), driving financial efficiency in initiatives focused on education, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. Previously, she held high-impact leadership roles across major multinational organisations, overseeing multi-billion-dollar financial portfolios and leading multifunctional teams of over 50 professionals in finance strategy, business partnering, financial controls, and corporate governance. Her distinguished career includes: Head of Budget at UBA, managing financial planning for over 400 business offices; Commercial Controller and Financial Controller at Airtel Nigeria, overseeing $1B+ in assets and driving cost-saving initiatives worth millions of dollars; Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Cellulant Nigeria and Liquid Technologies, providing strategic financial leadership in fast-scaling tech environments; and Director of Corporate Excellence & Program Management at IHS Towers, optimising financial structures and operational efficiency.
Beyond the boardroom, Oluwatoyin is a passionate advocate for SMEs and women entrepreneurs. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she founded the Africa Finance and Strategy Hub, a financial advisory firm dedicated to helping SMEs across sub-Saharan Africa build strong financial structures that drive sustainable growth. Through this initiative, she has coached and mentored over 5,000 business owners through programmes with She Leads Africa, Access Bank, Keystone Bank, Wema Bank Business School, the Tony Elumelu Foundation, and Wimbiz.
As a mentor and role model, she is deeply invested in developing the next generation of finance and business leaders. She mentors emerging professionals through Wimbiz, the Tony Elumelu Foundation, TechQuest STEM Academy and Ideation Hub. She also launched “A Date with Toyin”, a mentorship programme that has prepared over 20 finance professionals for leadership roles.
