
Dr Mrs Celine Njoku, FCASSON
Counselling Psychologist
Dr. Mrs. Celine Njoku is a distinguished Counselling Psychologist with a PhD, MEd, and BEd in Counselling from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). She currently serves as the National Vice President of the Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), a position she has held since 2022, and was recently appointed to oversee Public Relations on the CASSON Council Governing Board in April 2025.
She is a member of Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME), Nigeria, a Board Member of the Family and Human Life Unit of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, and a Committee Member of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in Abuja. Additionally, she serves as the Coordinator for Child Safety and Protection in the Festac Deanery of the Archdiocese of Lagos.
Dr Njoku has presented numerous academic papers and received multiple awards in recognition of her contributions. Notable honours include the Ambassador of Peace Award (Accra, June 2023), African Women in Leadership and Humanitarian Network Award (November 2023), Catholic Women Organisation Award of Excellence (April 2024), and the Patroness Award of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (September 2024), among others.
At the 10th conference, she will speak on “Emotional Intelligence: A Key to Designing a Mindful and Balanced Life”.
